Class Times

For the next three weeks I will be teaching:

8-10 yr old class from 10:00-10:45 [There is an opening for one more student]

4/5 yr old class from 11:00-11:45 [This class is full]

7/8 yr old class from 12:00-12:45 [This class is full]

4/5 yr old class from 1:00-1:45 [This class is full]

I can still teach a class from 9:00-9:45 or 2:00-2:45. If necessary I can go beyond that as well. If you would still like to enroll your child in swimming lessons it isn't too late! I will work with you to make-up any missed days so that they can get all 8 lessons in.

Lesson Times

I need to have an idea of what levels and ages of students I will have before I can give times of lessons. However, I am planning on holding lessons from about 9:00am to 2:00 or 3:00 pm. If there is a time that would work better for you, please let me know!

When Lessons Will Be Held

June 30th-July 3rd: 2nd Session (This will be a 1/2 session so it will be 1/2 price. There will be 4 lessons, Monday-Thursday) Please note that if you want to do 4 more lessons we can figure them into my schedule on any of the below days- or you can do another full session! I'll work with whatever you want to do.

July 28th-August 8th: 3rd Session (Lessons will be held Monday-Friday the first week and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday the following week with a make-up lesson on Friday, August 8th for students who missed a lesson)

Swimming Lesson Levels

Parent/Child Aquatics
1. Parent/Child Aquatics Level 1: Children ages 6 months to 3 years old. The purpose is to familiarize young children with water and get them comfortable in the pool. Parents will be in the pool with their children.

Preschool Aquatics
1. Preschool Aquatics Level 1: Usually kids about age 4 or 5 who don’t have very much experience in water. Kids will learn basic skills such as; blowing bubbles, various floats, front and back glide, how to stay safe in the water, and such. The main purpose is to get them comfortable in the water.
2. Preschool Aquatics Level 2: Builds on basic skills learned in level 1.
3. Preschool Aquatics Level 3: Builds on basic skills learned in levels 1 & 2
(Because of small class sizes, I anticipate students will likely move through at least 2 levels in one 8 lesson session)

Learn to Swim
1. Learn to Swim Level 1: Usually kids about 6 years old who may or may not have experience in the water. Kids will learn basic skills such as; blowing bubbles, various floats, front and back glide, how to stay safe in the water, and such. The main purpose is to get them comfortable in the water.
2. Learn to Swim Level 2: Builds on basic skills learned in level 1, at this point kids will start to explore movement through water but not really any defined strokes.
3. Learn to Swim Level 3: Students will begin to learn basic strokes and continue to build on skills from previous levels.
4. Learn to Swim Level 4: Students will refine strokes and learn more complex skills.
5. Learn to Swim Level 5: Student wills continue to refine strokes and build on skills from level 4.

(Because of small class sizes, I anticipate students will likely move through at least 2 levels in one 8 lesson session.)

If you could let me know what level you think your child is at that will really help me organize classes by age/level so that your kids can get the most out of their lessons! Thanks
